KYLE'S BIRTHDAY 2014

LYLE IS AN OLD MAN! HE IS TOTALLY PUSHIN 30!

I had big plans of leavin B overnight for the first time & staying at a fun downtown hotel & hot tubbing... Yeah that didn't happen! Something was goin on & all the hotels were booked or had crazy high prices! So we left B with Auntie Lou & went shopping & kyle got new nikes & Oakley tank tops! Then we went to dinner at Jakers... YUMMMM! Then we went to the village & saw a movie (first one I've been to in almost a year & our first movie at the village!) & then we went to cold stone for ice cream! And we came home an hour before our baby did! Haha we party hard! It wasn't my original plan but I hope he still had fun! Oh & I made him his favorite bday cake for work :)

EASTER WEEKEND 2014

HOLIDAY WEEKENDS ARE ALWAYS FUN & BUSY... VERY BUSY!

ROYAL AND AUNTIE A CAME HOME AND WE HAD LUNCH WITH THEM AND THEN WE HAD B DECORATE EASTER EGGS FOR THE FIRST TIME WITH ASHLEY'S FAMILY!

SHE LOVED IT! THERE WASNT AN EGG THAT WASNT CRACKED BY THE END!

THEN WE DROPPED B OFF WITH KYLE'S PARENTS AND WE WENT TO CAPTAIN AMERICA WITH EVERYONE! IT WAS SUPER GOOD BUT IT WAS LONG AND I WAS TOTALLY READY TO SNUGGLE MY BABY BY THE END!

SIDENOTE: WE DROVE ALL THE WSY BACK TO STAR TO PICK B UP AND IT WAS ALMOST MIDNIGHT AND ON THE 45 MINUTE DRIVE HOME SHE STILL DIDNT FALL ASLEEP... WHY? SHE HATES SLEEP!!!

ANYWAYS WE GOT UP EARLY AND SHOWED B THAT THE EASTER BUNNY CAME! SHE GOT A PLASMA CAR... SUPER COOL! SHE LOOOOOOOOVES IT!

THEN WE WENT TO MY PARENTS FOR BRUNCH AND B HAD HER VERY OWN PRIVATE EASTER EGG HUNT! MY MOM IS AWESOME! B IS REAL GOOD AT FINDING EGGS!

THEN WE WENT TO CHURCH WITH MY FAM AND RO GOT THE PRIESTHOOD! IT WAS SO SO SO SO SO AWESOME! SUCH A BLESSING & A MIRACLE! IM SO INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL FOR THE ATONEMENT!

AFTER CHURCH WE WENT TO KYLE'S GRANDPARENTS AND HAD DINNER & LET B PLAY... SHE DIDNT GET A NAP SO SHE WAS PRETTY GRUMPY! BUT WHAT CAN YA DO?!

IT WAS A SUCCESSFUL EASTER & IM VERY GRATEFUL FOR MY SAVIOR AND MY FAMILY!

A DAY WITH POP BOB

We all love Pop Bob! More than he knows! I love that we live close & that B knows who he is & loves him! It melts my heart!!!

And we found this picture while we were at it house! He was so classy!!! No wonder why gramma fell for him :)

APRIL CONFERENCE 2014

We loooove conference weekend! I feel like the April one is always the start of playing outside, cleaning out the garage & old clothes, & an awesome spiritual boost! Every conference Sunday growing up we always had cinnamon rolls! So I decided to continue that tradition & I don't think Kyle or B mind one bit :) after conference this year we went to my parents for dinner & then went & fed the ducks in their neighborhood! B looooooved it! It seriously made my day! It was so simple & so fun!

And one of my favorite talks was from Uchtdorf talking about how we need to be thankful for the rain instead of just waiting for the storm to pass to be thankful for the rainbow! Be thankful NOW! For everything! Don't wait for that new house or that new job... Be thankful today for where you are and what you have!

First Day of Kyle's Spring Break

On Monday of Kyle's Spring break 2014 we decided to have a fun family night! The weather was perfect so we set out to find the perfect park for B! After three parks, we ended up at Settler's Park in Meridian! It is seriously so cool! We played for hours! Then we decided to grab something to eat and so we stopped at chic-fil-a! We got our food and before we knew it B was puking EVERYWHERE! I felt sooo bad for her and it was all I could do to keep from barfing myself! I'm the worst when it comes to vomit!!!! I had it from head to toe & so did B! I was embarrassed and sad and grossed out all at once! I think every parent hopes that their kids never puke somewhere public buuut what can you do? Just laugh about it later :) oh & then kyle & I ended up with the flu the rest of the week! It was the worst flu I have ever had... Ever!!! I puked violently for 13 hours... Woof! I thought I was dying but luckily I wasn't & Kyle took such good care of B and I :) we are so lucky!!!

Happy Spring Break 2014

This little midget LOVES the park!!!! It is so fun to watch her be curious & explore & soak up life for all it's worth! I love that she finds SO much joy in such little seemingly insignificant things! I appreciate that little lesson I get on a daily basis... Appreciate everything big & small! I also love (but it makes me so nervous) that this tiny little thing is fearless!!! She tries to play with kids half her size & she tries to book it straight down the slides! We have to watch her so close! But she is so fun!!!
